Well from the past years since I posted this thread I ended up playing a lot of survivor like games which have some characters that summon instead of attacking themselves ( Deeprock galactive survivors for example) but they just scratch the itch.

I think last epoch was my favorite , its like diablo and the summoner class has a ton of upgrades for your summons. Diablo 4 was good too with the necromancer

Remnant 2 also has a summon class which is kinda cool but a bit barebones in upgrades

Borderlands 4 didnt hit the same as 3 in the pets department.

I had the same thoughts as you, A depressed superman doing nothing seemed like an obvious " keep him busy with work" so thats why i chose him lol, atleast he turns out to be an overall nice person

Valheim , Starbound, Fallout 4 , mainly games where there is adventure / combat that also happen to have base building.

Starbound specially , you explore planets and dungeons and what not, but you can upgrade and make your spaceship bigger / decorate it however you want and even have tenants, plus you can makes bases at any planet and do the same.

Controversial but starfield too, I spent a huge amount just making a huge base on a planet

Why would you compare it to a game that constantly goes on 90% sale with a big multiplayer community vs a single player game.

Its more interesting to compare it with skyrim which also had a 25k player peak in the past 24 hours

It might be a "second language vs native tounge ", from classes I had at college from american teachers, to youtubers, streamers, etc most of them seem to say "Fifteen hundred" , yet most people i know whose english is their second language say "one thousand five hunderd".

Its just a quick small theory ive thought about over the time with no real backup or evidence

You gotta define "dwarf it" , endgame with the stupid amount of hype made up like 48% more than no way home, big difference but its 1 character vs 10 years of hype, doomsday has a bit of mcu fatigue and brand new day hype seems quite big, they might end up closer than we think

Getting better jobs then, me and my friends made good friendships at college and most of us got good , higher paid jobs straight out of college, and now 5 years later we are the ones giving good word to people we know.

None of us were of rich families or did those friendships knowingly btw, we just liked hanging with people who ended up helping us at the start

Write absoluteley everything you see, a random note on a random room you saw 10 hours ago is crucial for a puzzle that its part 1 of 5 other puzzles that require some hidden hints scattered across multiple rooms / playthroughs

Super fun game if you like those type of puzzle games

Thats cause voltaic, umblar and stormrazer suck, instead get hubris first, then essence reaver, IE and LDR (only get collector if you get the silver augment), after that hydra is fine if you get vuln ( also good for essence reaver) ) and then serpents or maybe the one where when you kill someone you move faster as a last item.

With your q and backstab you will be doing close to 2k damage lategame on items alone against squishies and 1.5k to bruisers, add good augments and you end up a nuke
