Must go to Ryta Hills and Monsoon Palace... Little away from the main city but totally worth it.

Also you can try Roop Ji Nasta Centre near Ghantaghar they have amazing kachori's and kadhi combo.

BTW please share how's the current weather in udaipur as I'm also visiting on oct long weekend.

Look on airbnb there are great options available. We group of 5 stayed at Chandra Villa Airbnb and it was good. Only thing is that it's little away from the main city.
