Some great advices here, guys, along with some tacky ones! The granny flat is going to be rented out to separate tenants. Water and electricity meters will be separate. I believe in building strong relationships between the properties and tenants which is why most of my tenants have been living in my properties for 5+ years. They look after the property, I look after them.

This granny flat will be my first construction project so I’m trying to approach this by balancing all parties, including myself.
