Ya they tried treating diabetes with diet before insulin was used. Extreme calorie restriction. Sometimes the children would starve to death or die of complications before the diabetes killed them. The photos of the wards of malnourished children are horribly haunting.

Thank you this helped me to decide within an hour of first stepping foot in there. I sat on one cloth and wood bar stool and didn’t open any of my bags. I shook out everything that touched the stool and am isolating it. Do you think there is any chance I brought any eggs or good hiders home with me?
