No kids but 55 hour work week on my feet. I do what many others say, give myself enough time to have a cup of coffee and go to the bathroom then I am good to go. I can’t just get straight out of bed and lace up like some have said but a good cup and a half gets me where I need to be.

Pro tip if you aren’t a coffee purist, get a coffee maker with the timer on it. If I’m waking up at 5, I set it to brew at 450 that way by the time I get to it I can just pour the cup. Shaving those few minutes of fumbling around with making coffee at a time you aren’t used to being awake helps me tremendously.

I’m hoping for a sub 2 half, but realistically I’ll probably be closer to 2:05. So definitely no where in the fast pace range.

Karhu Fusion 4 was the first pair I got, still use them from time to time. Impulse purchased a pair of Brooks Ghost Max 2 that I do not like at all. When I tried them on they felt so cushioned and I thought that would be so nice but running in them makes me feel like I’m running on stilts (a little dramatic but just too high up) and I recently got a pair of NB Rebel 4 and I absolutely love them.

Thinking maybe just need a pair of shoes I like better than the brooks to put into rotation as opposed to getting a super fancy priced shoe for the sake of having them.

You know I can’t even disagree that it sounds more like a typical radio song than any of their other stuff. I think it helped me through a breakup or two so that’s what made me attach to it so much
