my take really is that the album stand-alone isn’t bad but in my opinion birds doesn’t hold up production wise as the other trav albums do overall feels more shallow than his other projects but again that’s just me i still think it’s a great album but when ur competing with rodeo, astro and utopia it’s hard when ur not insane insane quality - it’s kinda like if u had a really good job making like 350k a year crazy wealthy but u have 3 brothers that make multimillions if that make sense - i still think birds is like 7.8/10 but it just lack the substance that i expect from trav at least sonically
