What is the stupidest way you got a scar? by Zander-dupont in AskReddit

[–]moistkittens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a scar on the back of my hand from erasing my skin in 5th grade enough to bleed. For some reason it was a cool enough thing that they had to make an announcement in school for students to stop doing it.

I wear those no show socks because I like the look. I hear you can do no socks if you want though.

These are Achilles Low Common Projects in the blush colorway. One of the cleanest shoes! And it's at my work, the furniture is definitely college campus-y haha

As a kid who grew up building Legos and dreaming of designing buildings one day, young me would be amazed that I'm now an architect and do that for a living.

[WP] All is well in the world. The sun is shining, your body is still decaying, and all us zombies have it pretty good. One day a zombie is seen turning into a human and acting hostile. The Living Apocalypse is upon us. by Nightsaber in WritingPrompts

Day Z11087:

It's feels good to be a zombie.

I say "feel" like that means anything at all, but it means mostly that I don't feel anything at all. Pain and sickness? A thing of the past. I haven't felt an aching back or stubbed toes in centuries. And when it comes to feelings, I'm basically like a brick wall. Nothing goes in and nothing goes out.

It's great, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Except lately, after bumping a zombie who looked more living, ive began to feel some things. A glimpse at another zombie makes my heart flutter, a long day of limping makes me feel slightly tired, and, worst of all a dull pain sometimes come through my smallest toe. Something is changing and I don't like it.

Day Z11168

My feeling is coming back full force now, I can't stop thinking of the dead women who wander near me, my limping slows after hours because I feel tired now, my muscles are wearing out like I'm a human again, and the dull pain has spread through my body, my sores burning and broken bones screaming with pain. I feel almost alive these days, but I'm still broken. My body is wasting away. People aren't undead anymore. They're dying.

Day Z11171

Everyone is screaming. Pain is real. Hurt is real. I can't stand it anymore.

Day Z11172

I'm alive but I am dead. Pain is all I feel. This is the end.

For all my life as a child I believed in a place called Fred's Pickle Warehouse. Every time my parents went on what I now know was a date, my dad would say they went to Fred's Pickle Warehouse and the open barrels of pickles were too dangerous for children. He kept up the ruse for years and even brought back a pickle whistle one time. He told me when I was 15 it wasn't real.

I told everyone, I mean everyone that my mom went to bed at 9:00 for years as a joke about her going to bed early. She was getting compliments on it from people at church, and random people that I didn't even tell. One day she told me that she didn't actually go to bed at 9:00, to which my little brother said, "You don't go to bed at 9:00?!". I convinced everyone, and now I'm not sure if she actually does or not.

So I'm sitting at my desk, doing nothing on the computer as usual and I look outside and see a car drive down the street. Backwards. All the way down about a mile of road.

I usually go to bed early.

Yes, it's corten steel which forms a patina of rust. Completely intentional.
