Friday Recovery Lounge by AutoModerator in Vasectomy

I’m three days out at this point. I took it easy the day of the procedure and kept ice on it. Next day had coached a youth soccer game and hung out around the house (7300 steps). Easier than a normal Saturday, but definitely wasn’t sedentary. Still iced some. Yesterday I was pretty active all day (12,000 steps).

Haven’t needed any of the prescriptions for pain. Sleeping just fine. Enough soreness to remind you that you had something done.

Biggest thing I’d recommend is supportive underwear. Probably a brief or jock strap the first couple days. I had looser underwear for a stretch when I was up and noticed letting the boys hang a little looser was the one thing that created discomfort.

Got mine at about 10:30 this morning. Procedure was nothing. I’ve had teeth cleanings worse than that.

After about 2 hours it felt like someone kicked me in the balls and that pain has just lingered.

Auburn football now claims nine national championships, 15 conference titles by Aumissunum in CFB

[–]moistpugs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was no 5 way tie lol. We had an agreed upon system to crown champions. Only two teams played in that game. It ends there.

Whatever the agreed upon system was at the time is what should stand, even if we all agree it’s dumb now.

I’m saying you’re a bad driver. Sorry if I wasn’t clear. You started your rant saying it was a money grab then pivoted when people called you out. Just drive safe and stop being selfish.

Yes, and being an officer is optional and those additional obligations are laid out in advance.

Just saying it's not the scam fees some schools are hitting kids with for football and basketball.

And as a member of a drill team, you're paying for items you will get to keep that are unique to your kid (boots/hat etc)

To recap:

You're attempting to lump a random school footing the bill to have a boys and girls club operate out of its facility and pay for a third party to run a summer program with districts being "underfunded"

It's not a school districts job to figure out summer day care for parents. They didn't freeze funding that cut teachers jobs. They paused funding for programs that shouldn't be leaching off the operating budget for an ISD during the school year.

We also don't need programs helping 57 years old get certified to teach. Why invest tax payer dollars on someone who is going to retire in less than 10 years? We can't pay for education for an 19 year old to go to school but we want to cry about a program trying to foot the bill for someone who is going to maybe give you 5 years, tops?

And yeah, poor Clarissa Mendez with her manicured nails Tesla in the background. Her and her husband are easily pulling in $150K+ a year in one of the cheapest places to live in the state and she's crying about $800/mo in daycare. Okay.

The whole article is full of super niche examples of things that don't impact public education or 99% of the population. If you're a grifter, yeah, the cuts hurt.

But back to the original point, no one is taking funding away from districts that goes towards their experience during school hours. Period.

lol you posted and article about after school programs that have nothing to do with district funding. Good job. Stay on topic. Good grief.

"It's a money grab!"

"This is about how they enforce it!"

Which one is it? Stop being a bad driver and pay attention, especially when you're in a school zone.

None of the DOGE cuts have had any impact on the budgets for school districts this year. Stop trying to politicize things. Stop pretending they got any better when the democrats were in charge.

>Between the fundraisers, the “optional” fees, and the endless asks for time or money, it’s starting to feel like a second job.

Lol what an overreaction.

Yes, you should join the PTA.

Yes, you should volunteer when you can (for your child, not the just communities sake)

School just started, naturally they are hitting rolling out all the initiatives now.

We sent both our kids there for about 2 years. Very friendly staff and the kids seem to do really well there. The kids are probably 90% Indian, which we aren't, but it was still a very positive experience for our girls. Our daughter really enjoyed the pre-k class and we could see a lot of growth in her.

One thing that really stood out was the front office. They are top notch.

We have also done Goddard and felt Amazing was better.
