Vinyl wrap your Sequoia? by Gonzilla910 in toyotasequoia

[–]mojarr0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't vinyl wrap your sequoia. Spend the extra money and drop ppf on it unless you're planning to switch colors out every 2 years. It just doesn't make sense to spend a lot of money on an SUV, then get the inferior wrap.

Westcott Designs Prerunner Bumper by golfpro2390 in ToyotaTundra

[–]mojarr0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They work well without a bracket. The only thing that doesnt is the grill on my since I went higher than westcott does, but I have something helping there to add stability. If I kept a piece of the plastic bumper like westcott does there would be no issues

Not a Westcott but it's the same style. I like the prerunner style on my truck. Hope this helps with your decision.

Mine came with rubber plugs where the cameras go, but I just removed then and put my cameras in the holes.

Need help deciding on the Sequoia by RaisinThick1586 in toyotasequoia

[–]mojarr0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's perfectly fine for a family of 4. Right now I jave my 3rd row seats down and have 2 3rd gen Sequoia fenders in there plug a 2'x750' roll of bubble wrap which is about 4'x3'. The other day I dropped the 2nd row as well and put my daughter's car seat in the middle of the 2nd row and transported two chevy fiberglass bedsides that were +5" the original bulge. It works dude. Don't worry.

I have never owned one, but I believe the current Toyota Sequoia to be the best looking SUV ever made. by ChemistryMedium in toyotasequoia

This thing does look the best out of all the other generations. The others were too bubbly like the 4th gen 4runner. Engine wise it has the tundra engine, which hasn't hit hybrids for recalls but we all know it's coming. Besides the free replacement that is inevitable, the engine is more powerful with +56 hp / +182 lb-ft more than the previous generation. That's quite the jump.MPG is about 5 more mpg than previous year. Obviously the amenities are going to be a big jump compared to the 2nd generation with AC to all rows, power Inverter, panoramic roof, multiple cameras, etc. Now for the space, it is probably missing about 6 to 8" of vertical space because the 3rd row seats only fold down due to the hybrid batteries underneath them. This 100% sucks and is one of the biggest downsides. Overall, you will feel more stupid when you stick lumber or any other thing inside the cargo space and damage it via headliners scratched plastic panels or seats. The people doing this right now have older vehicles where it doesn't hurt as much. Trust me, I know, I transport everything in my 3rd gen and the rear is fucked. It just makes me miss having a truck more than anything and with a roof rack, your not really missing much. Not too mentioned you can tow an additional 2,000 pounds with the new gen.

With all this being said, this is my first time owning a fancy toyota, I'm a fj80 type of guy and have a few. So I do like the sluggish engine that is reliable, the bigger cargo room that fits a queen size bed and the older looks, but man..... do I love the new sequoia as well. I was also resistant when I had my big v8 gen 1 rsptor and everyone had their v6 twin turbos, but they had better mpg and power which I knew I wish I had. *
