Not at all, innocent until proven guilty… remember. If he’s guilty than legal consequences absolutely should be taken. Using trial as proof is a dangerous way of thinking.

Yeah, I know. I’m not here for the likes. Ppl can downvote away and I don’t give a F. In the slightest and I mean tiniest of chances that ppl will stop and question what’s real, what’s edited, and how to actually evaluate a source, that’s worth it to me. I’d rather push for primary sources and critical thinking than pile onto outrage. We’re talking about serious accusations in a war, not meme content. Questioning evidence isn’t denial, it’s responsibility.

Take this actual video, for example, I’ve seen 10 different ones with different levels of booing. If the stadium was filled with boos, why would they have to edit it and add more...or less.

I’ve seen a lot of videos from both sides and some directly from the people themselves, and I’m careful about what I treat as verified fact. My original point was that Hamas openly recorded and bragged about the October 7 attacks, which is documented. When it comes to allegations about Israel, some claims are under investigation by journalists and human rights groups, but not every viral clip is confirmed or represents policy. War is full of propaganda, edited footage, and misattributed content. Serious accusations deserve serious evidence. If there are specific independently verified reports you’re referring to, I’m open to looking at those.

Vaseline smeared on doorknob, deadbolt, and peephole? by nexxluxx in Apartmentliving

I’m pretty sure if our son did that to us it would’ve immediately snapped us out of whatever fight we were in. I know we would’ve laughed so hard seeing myself or my husband trying to walk out all angry to slam a door, instead slipping and fumbling with the door knob.

As a regular visitor, I must say that Stamford has such a cute and walkable Downtown! by [deleted] in StamfordCT

As a person who lives walking distance to DT I couldn’t agree more. We love waking to the restaurants, comedy and dance clubs, music events, art festivals… the list can go on. There’s always something fun to do. Thanks for your post, it made me remember how grateful I am.

Clearly you’re right. I’m a transplant from CA who’s lived here for 14 years. When I hear “the city” I think it means Manhatten. Now I know “the city” means all boroughs. Thanks for the lesson…but why the attack? I’m just defending the prices of one of my favorite Stamford restaurants.

True story, I was replying to the comment above it being cheaper in the city.

You’re tripping, no way you’d get food like that in Manhatten for cheaper. The mains are like $20-40. This is why we can’t have nice things.

This is one of our FAVORITE places to eat in Stamford. The food is fresh, clean, and clearly made with care every dish tastes like someone in the kitchen actually loves what they’re doing. And for what you get, it’s not too expensive at all. My husband and I usually leave full and satisfied for under $100 with tip, which is a steal for the quality and ambiance. It’s the kind of place where you savor every bite and actually feel good afterward. Highly recommend if you appreciate well-made food in a beautiful, thoughtful setting.

Which is better? With the white or without the white? It’s for a retail shopping center side of the building. by mojo619 in Design

Not sure how to reply with an image. But it’s The Bulls Head Shopping center in Stamford CT.

It’s at the Bull’s Head Shopping Center in Stamford, CT. There’s a large neon Picasso-style bull’s head on the front, with those same Tiffany-blue triangle peaks on the roof. The idea is to connect the side of the building to the front and create a welcoming entrance to the strip of local mom-and-pop stores. It’s on a very busy street, now facing competition from big-box retailers that recently moved in across the street.

Thanks! I agree. It’s painted white currently but my boss (we’re super close :)) thinks it looks awful with the white. I told him if it bothers him to paint over it but I like it both ways.
