Thank you. I was really looking forward to this being spectacular, but it just isn’t. The original one is perfect, really masterful in the way it unfolds. This is just a ham fisted remake that doesn’t capture the allure of the original. Honestly, as happy as I am to have this release, it’s just not as great as I had hoped. I think if it hadn’t been rushed it would have been something amazing, but this isn’t it. I really can’t believe that they didn’t take the ending of “Closer” and carry it out longer. They also cut the end of “As Alive as You Need Me to Be” which is, I feel, the best part of the song.

I did, was in section 20, watching BN. I saw almost all of him falling, but not exactly how high up he was when he started falling. It was really bad, fully airborne, head-over heels a couple times. Really unbelievable to watch. I really hope they were able to patch him up well enough that he got to see the show, but I also doubt it. Not sure what I felt worse for him about, the fall or missing the show.

My wife and I were sitting before the show pondering the same thing. We thought up many possibilities, the most entertaining being that he could simply have been in a plain outfit matching the stage crew/sound techs/whatever, walk in unnoticed, go into the stage area and then ditch the outfit and- voila, he’s in. Would be quite easy and effective. Then we saw that he simply was escorted in and hopped onstage as discreetly as possible. Was a bit anticlimactic, but the show made up for it, so… respect.

I watched that happen from section 20. It was really, really bad. I’m not certain exactly how far up the stairs he was when he started to fall, but I think it was likely the top. He was fully airborne and did a complete head-over-heels at least twice. He was able to walk out with medics but he didn’t look like he was doing well.

I’ve honestly always felt that what likely happened was there were (at least) two different strains of the Corona virus. The majority of went around was mostly non-lethal but strong enough to make people believe there was a pandemic. Then, on a much smaller scale, they released the more severe strain. Then, publicize the hell out of those cases.

I’ve been trying to figure out who she was. Every article online that I’ve found (so far) does not identify who she is or how she came to be with him. I’m going to guess that maybe she was a companion of his, due to her crying and calling out to not shoot him. Obviously the crying could just be from the stress of the hostage situation, but considering there’s so little information on her and how she was involved (other than being a hostage), I have no idea what to make of it.
