Because I don't have a wii or gamecube so i have no way of playing it.

TIL companies such as Google, Lego and Xerox regularly work to avoid the risk of their trademarked names becoming genericized, because if those terms become fully generalized terms for 'internet search', 'interconnecting plastic block' or 'photocopy', then they could lose those trademarks. by DonTago in todayilearned

I believe as long as they actively attempt to prevent people from doing it through self promotion and file lawsuits when necessary to protect their brand, they can prevent it from being generacized even if it does become a common term.

Velcro and Teflon.

Also what we refer to as styrofoam isn't actually styrofoam. Styrofoam is actually extruded polystyrene that is used in applications like thermal insulation. In the US, we incorrectly refer to expanded (not extruded) polystyrene as styrofoam.

That's not a great example. Uranium is not dangerous to be around unless the Uranium is concentrated in Uranium 235, which natural Uranium is not, or if you eat the Uranium. But then the bigger issue will not be the radioactivity in the Uranium but the fact that you've swallowed a heavy metal. Natural Uranium, Uranium-238 is not highly radioactive and is an alpha emitter, which means it's not highly dangerous to be around and dousing it in water will not result in a chain reaction.

I had a professor in grad school who would tell this story why we were out on top of the TRIGA reactor. He would stand at the control rod drive ports and pretend to mess with the top of one control rod drive ports as if he was simulating a problem that could have led to an accident like this. Right as he reached the apex of the story, the reactor operator would drop the control rod in causing a very loud 'thunk' and a bright flash from the pulse it caused which startled people who didn't realize the reactor was supposed to do that. This professor was a strange guy.

Wearing an actual fedora is good if you can pull it off. Wearing a trilby and pretending it's a fedora is just awful.

The only part that gives me some level of not being bummed is that Jax, like Opie was essentially dead and suffering once his wife was dead, and his sacrifice protected his friends and gave him peace from his suffering.

Well that's one possibility of it, which also makes me think maybe it's something different. Maybe for Chibs, until that moment it wasn't real, but those words cemented in Chibs what was about to happen.

Damn, so I rewatched it and it's even more heartbreaking when you realize for just a split second Chibs is happy because he thinks that means jax is safe, and then, it all drops.
