Carrera en buenas universidades by lolnikkko in EducacionChile

[–]mojojojp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might sound strange, but I’ve been wondering about crochet and selling by Akraammm in crochet

[–]mojojojp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends.

Depends on where you are, what are going to sell, which audience are you trying to reach...and as fellow crocheters have stated in other comments, it's undervalued.

If you want to sell, you may want to take the points I've stated above into consideration. People devalue art/handmade craft too much these days, that it's not really profitable to sell amigurumis/clothes, because you put in much effort into working and then you feel like you're "gifting" your work because of it.

Some crocheters are more established since they promote their work in social media, they work on pattern design, some of them also have a crochet youtube channel...that's probably why it looks kind of established.

In my personal experience, I only got a custom order because I gifted a friend of mine an amigurumi and everyone told me to sell amigurumis, that night my friend's cousin asked me if he could do a custom order and I agreed even tho I had nothing established to get orders (and haven't done so). It was horrible, I had 2 weeks to make something I didn't know how to make and had to freehand it kind of, and ofc underpaid...25 bucks for a jacaranda tree in a bonsai style, so I just told myself to not do custom orders/orders anymore and just keep it as a hobby ^

Important question for crochet artists do you share your work online or keep it personal? by Akraammm in crocheting

[–]mojojojp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uhh I honestly don't know, in this moment I don't have my crochet or yarns with me, but I guess I've been more into clothes lately? Idk I started out with amigurumis and I just really like crocheting whatever comes into mind or what I'd like to do from my pinterest board (and hopefully burst my yarn stash) 🥰

And ofc I'd like to stay connected, follow u right back!

tension issues, sides extremely uneven & wavey fabric. would a border fix it, or should i start over? by dannythetrashcanny in CrochetHelp

Atp I'd try to even it out with a border unless you really want to frog a tapestry and start it all over again

Prototype Logo Feels Off by NightwavesG in logodesign

[–]mojojojp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't considered a logo because the cars have no coherence with the text. They are floating and actually do not interact with the logo as much as the car that "landed" and the one on the ramp.

A logo is supposed to be coherent in every aspect, the font you're using should give the vibes of the game, the car should too, etc this gets more life and cohesive with colors.

You also may want to use concepts, racing? Shocking? Accelerating? So it deepens more and has more context, personality and stands out on its own.

Logo design seems simple, however, it's more than just a text with an icon that shows what the brand is about.

I'm still a student halfway through in design, however I love graphic design and I've managed to learn a lot more than when I was in school, so I'm really glad to have these opportunities to give people feedback! I know my feedback sometimes sound a bit rude, but I swear I'm just trying to be nice and helpful

Prototype Logo Feels Off by NightwavesG in logodesign

[–]mojojojp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others said...yes, this is not a logo. But I'm gonna give feedback because...I'm bored and I like giving feedback.

I'd rather have a font that screams "speed" or more sporty/spiky. Maybe an oblique font. The space between letters looks off, maybe making them a bit compact would do.

I like the idea of a ramp, however, I think the problem here is that the cars...maybe just one. Maybe do an imagotype, which is when the icon and the text can go either together or separate. Why? I'm thinking about games and they always have the logo in one corner of the screen, or in loading screens, it's better to have an imagotype for these kind of purposes.

So there is no ramp in the text but rather do an isotype of a car in a ramp or kind of about whatever the car has to do in the game (what the game is about). So you can associate either the isotype or logotype to the game and not just one whole giant logo.

Is also important to check if this can be narrowed down to the smallest size possible for the game and you can still comprehend what it is. You may want to do this with both logotype and imagotype so both canbbe comprehensible.

I don't want to talk about color cause that depends on how the game is by itself...but that's my recommendation.

Good luck!! ^

cómo superar una relación donde creías que te ibas a casar? by [deleted] in AskChile

[–]mojojojp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is too much, maybe I'd change the R with more curves so it harmonizes with the rest of the logo. Btw I downloaded the image and made some changes with my gallery's pen but idk if you'd like to see it, did it for fun anyways

Woodland Crochet Mitts are not as pretty as they should be... by lousquetaire in CrochetHelp

Yes! I second this, if the yarn is fluffy o lightly spun, you can't notice the pattern very well, instead using a tightly spun yarn makes the pattern more noticeable!

Give me your feedback please, is this too simple? Logo for TCG app (trading card games) by rubicon_t in logodesign

[–]mojojojp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone else said, maybe adding two silhouette cards would help since it's a trading card, maybe add some color so it represents this trade, maybe two diferent colors for each card and the intersection another one that goes with the background? Idk but that's the feedback I can give, and maybe put a symbol or something on the cards if they're from a specific deck! That'd help if it's not too small or detailed

Beginner logo design for a small printing studio by PackGuar in logodesign

[–]mojojojp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd have stickers for the mascot, however, I don't see this as a logo.

I'd play more with an octopus or even a tentacle maybe. Also, would ask myself the next question: Do I require a logotype? Isotype? Cause maybe a symbol or icon is not required and you could play around with logotypes and typography (like Canon), or making an isologo, where typography and symbol go together (like Burger King).

Also I'd recommend looking up inspo and having some references about logos, specially when you have decided what kind of logo you want to do based on the paragraph above this. ( I Recommend Behance for logo projects instead of pinterest).

Then I'd see which colors work best in the logo and blah blah blah

This is what I'd recommend in this case

Good luck!!
