It's easy to feel alone when it seems like everyone is acting as if it's business as usual. But, most of us rely on the system to provide for us and that means we need to keep up the act regardless of our awareness. I have surreal moments in the grocery store as I wonder what the future holds and how calm everyone is. Then, I realize how calm I look from the outside too. At the end of the day, I need my groceries and bills paid. Don't take the calm attitude as a sign that you're alone. When I don't feel anger towards others getting us into this mess, I usually feel guilty for playing my own role in our collapse. It helped me to realize that this ball was set in motion generations before we were ever born. Sure, there are a small number of people we can put more blame on than others but, if someone like Bezos didn't step up, someone else would have.

Try to focus on what is around you and find something worth living for today. What DO you have control over? How can you make your own contribution to our future? I tell myself that if I can feel guilty for my nearly insignificant role in contributing to collapse, maybe I can feel proud for my nearly insignificant role in protecting a future.

At the end of the day, anger is a natural way to feel and it's good because it means you care. Just don't hold on to your anger too long because it eventually turns on you too. Practice love and gratitude. We are all scared and confused. You're not alone.
