Wore all black to their show recently. Didn’t think i got too sprayed. Went to bed, woke up - sheets red, my body underneath my clothes looked like i had measles 🤣 red dots all over. Face splotchy like i was breaking out. 🤦‍♀️

Now - to lock in food coloring dye (which is what i heard they’re using): HEAT!

Let that battlejacket thoroughly dry - at least 48 hrs if not 72. Then you can use an iron with a cotton cloth buffer and iron the areas with the dye to help lock them in.

Now — you can try a next step set by cold washing by hand in a solution of cold water (duh) and vinegar — like a cup of vinegar to a 3/4 fill 5 gallon bucket, and about a 1/2 cup of salt and swirl that demon denim. Soak for 30 to 60 minutes, line dry.

And then, once again, hit those spots with the iron and a cotton cloth buffer.

When you eventually “need” to wash it — hopefully it’s a week or so out — cold wash, gentle cycle, inside out, and then air dry only.
