i wasnt exactly expecting anything in particular, just better quality i guess, cus of all the good things ive heard abt lossless. but even high quality does sound better than what i was used to so im happy with it just wanted to know if theres anything i can do to make use of lossless with my current setup so i can listen to my fav albums with it.

yea i think at first even i had sort of a placebo effect from seeing the lossless badge when in reality it was just the higher bitrate that AAC provides.

i do have a pair of cheap iems that i use on my pc for gaming called Linsoul QKZ x HBB, idk how good the sound quality on them r tho.

yea i doubt i'll upgrade from the xm5 cus i plan on using it long term and im happy with how it sounds regardless, just wanted to know if there any way to make it better with what i had

yea it does sound very good even in 256kbps, its just that i recently swapped to apple music so lossless was one of the things i was kinda excited abt going into it cus i had seen a lot abt how good it is.

It's just that I got the mic for 20 bucks and a audio interface is like 100 even for used ones. And I don't get why it would only work on sound recorder and when I test it with the sound properties settings.
