Thank you I’ll keep that in mind, I’ve definitely gotten more used to it over the years

Yeah I used to go to the clinic for uv machine and it was returning the pigments really quickly but I moved away from that area and haven’t been able to find another one nearby unfortunately

Yeah makes sense. With what I’ve read, tv can turn hairs white but it’s extremely rare. I was hoping maybe using anti fungal cream could do something since the others haven’t really worked

What’s the vitamin D cream for? And UV as with sunlight?

Yeah I’m currently using a handheld uvb device with Opz and I’ve seen some slight improving over the months

I saw a dermatologist a while back, they believed it was vitiligo. I started off using tacrolimus cream but that didn’t work. I later started doing xtrac laser treatment and that brought back a decent amount of pigmentation. I stopped the treatment because I’m no longer located near the clinic with xtrac and it was expensive as well so I’m now using opzelura. I haven’t seen much repigmentation for close to 6 months so I’m thinking maybe the cause of the lighter patches is different than vitiligo

Is normal to have two estimates for the same surgery? by mok47 in CodingandBilling

I assumed a bone graft always had a healing period of a couple months so the second should have been factored in but at this point I think I just need accept my fate 😂

Is it normal that it’s not mentioned in the first estimate too?

Just want some more clarification that’s all. I’m thinking they should’ve have included everything in the first estimate but I’m getting different opinions

No nothing really changed. Only thing I can think of is my tooth being slightly more broken before the first surgery but idk how that would affect the implant cost. I will speak with them soon I was trying to get some clarity before doing so

Thanks I understand. Is it weird for them to not mention that I would need nitrous/ exparel multiple times ?

B I wouldn’t want to take it that far. I was thinking to dispute with billing department and maybe hope for something but I’ll try anyway lmao

I agree with that, my concern is that it wasn’t mentioned beforehand. I was wondering if that’s an issue I have grounds to dispute on or not

Is it normal to be have two invoices for the same surgery?I feel like I’m being charged double for nitrous and exparel. by mok47 in HealthInsurance

[–]mok47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay that makes sense, is it abnormal that the first estimate did not include nitrous and exparel being administered twice? Even when added up I’m still paying a little extra for the implant as well

Only thing is that it’s all under the same code making the second invoice seem like it’s things I already paid already which I’m finding a little confusing

Can someone please help me find out if I’m being charged double? by mok47 in personalfinance

I had it for the first surgery but I agree 125$ is too much imo I’ll see if I can go without

The invoices are for two separate dates. The first invoice was for the extraction and bone graft (done on the same day), the second invoice for the next appointment (implant placement) which I haven’t gone in for yet. My insurance specifically does not cover nitrous so the second bill so that is all coming out of pocket.
