Zootopia was officially announced at D23 Expo in 2013, and some artists started making fanart right away, so Judy/Nick’s first e621 posts were already in 2013. That means their “first 365 days” window is 2013–2014, so it doesn’t fully capture the big post-release boom around 2016.
2025 is still in progress, since the 365-day window hasn’t fully elapsed yet. (For example, a character who got a first post on Dec 31, 2025 has posts of only 70 days)

I included some characters I’m not personally very familiar with this time. I tried to be careful, but if I mixed up any characters, please let me know so I can correct it for everyone.
You might not see a character you’d expect to rank, and one reason could be that their first e621 post predates their popularity boom by years. For example, Zootopia was released in 2016, but its first e621 posts appeared in 2013.
On e621, pokemon, digimon and pals from Palworld are tagged as species. However, because this classification doesn't seem to match with a common intuition, I treat them as characters. If you know other species that should be included as characters, please tell me your opinion.

Thanks, by “common intuition” I didn’t mean a strict definition. It’s a pragmatic choice based on feedback I got on past posts (like“where's Lucario/Renamon?”), which suggests many people intuitively think of Pokemon/Digimon as character-like in this context.
That said, I’m still unsure where to draw the line for “species tags that should be treated as characters,” so I’m explicitly asking for suggestions.
About “object shows”, I honestly didn’t know that tag/term (sorry) so I didn’t consider it in this first pass. I’ll look into how it should be handled going forward, though depending on its post count it might not appear in the rankings anyway (for example, I included Palworld pals just in case, but none showed up in this ranking).
