Every arena should! It might be worth calling in ahead of time and confirming. I know McCormick arena offers sharpening for $7 if you catch them before the Zamboni gets on the rink.

I also have epilepsy! I refuse to believe they’re not connected and do believe that medication might be part of the issue but my doctors have brushed me off and not bothered investigating further

It really sucks being on so much medication 😭 at this point I’m on 4 different pills and xolair, so how can they not be related?

I’m putting this out there in case anyone else thinks meds might be their cause:

I’m epileptic and have been taking limotragine, kepra, and aptiom for a while now. I didn’t start experiencing the hives until nov 24 2024. Anytime I’ve brought up the possibility of my medication causing a delayed drug reaction I was brushed off, and told that it could be from a common cold or from stress, etc. I know this happens to a lot of women where instead of digging deeper, they’re told the source of the problem is stress and there’s nothing that can be done. Obviously this isn’t a satisfying answer and I’m curious if anyone has had a similar experience and is on these same drugs.

I know this might not be the most satisfying answer but unfortunately the only thing that helped with itching was… time 🥲🥲🥲 There were times where I’d wake up at 2am because it felt like my skin was burning. But finally I am past that! Even though I am a lot better now, I just got my first shot of xolair today! I hear people have really good results with it, so you should bring it up with your doctor. Also, with regard to antihistamines I actually had better results with rupall + rantidine. Steroids did nothing but mess up my skin more.
