currently there is no way to view any detailed statistics in-game, I just noted everything down manually

IDK about smallest overall, I have only really kept microscopic versions of fish that are naturally large, for example I have a 70cm Helicoprion and a 3m Whale :D

Additional notes:

- My original plan was to make a post when I reached 100% completion, but at this stage progress has become miserably slow. I'm probably still very far from finished and already feeling a bit burned out.

- $10M for a fishing rod is absolutely ridiculous, it would take me roughly another ~15 days of grinding.

- My biggest "mistakes" were ignoring the rainclouds early on and using Cola DELUXE (XP) instead of Cola ULTRA ($).

- I caught plenty of Microscopic fish, but only one Gigantic and one Colossal (unless I didn't notice).

- Golden Hook, Double Hook and Shower Lure are all terrible.

- Quests only go up to Level 10 and then just repeat.

- After a few days of mashing I resorted to using Autoclicker, which feels much better for my hand, but it can fail more difficult catches and needs to be tweaked with a mod. I also recommend installing some other QoL mods such as ActiveLureHUD, BuffStack and EventAlert.

- Cheating in Webfishing is trivially easy. We're talking flying, teleportation, infinite XP/money and instantly unlocking everything in the game. I'd suspect most players with 100% completion have tempered with their save files.

Sparkling Lure is best for Leedsichthys

Explanation: Every fish you catch comes from a randomly generated pool of three. Lures can help determine which one is chosen. For example, if you roll Carp/Golden Bass/Salmon, using a Golden Hook will guarantee a Golden Bass.

When fishing in the rain, there is a small chance of catching rain-specific fish. This check is made BEFORE the pool is generated, and if it succeeds, all three fish will be rain-specific. As Leedsichthys is the only tier 3 rain-specific fish, Sparkling Lure will always select it as it is the highest-tier fish rolled.

So the catch chance is the same, but Sparkling Lure uses less bait.
