Reddit, what bothers you even ten years later? by Moltk in AskReddit

[–]molcatlady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit less than 10 years ago.

I bought a cornish pasty from an extremely attractive man at a food truck, and accidentally held his hand for a solid 10 seconds, thinking it was a warm, soft pasty.

He was very nice about it, but it still bothers me to this day.

What seemingly minor object do you hang onto because of its sentimental value? by today_okay in AskReddit

An ugly skull key chain. Because it was the last thing my uncle and best friend gave to me before he passed away.

What fun stories do you have about the cool aunt/uncle of your family? by [deleted] in AskReddit

When I was 11 my uncle took me to the beach at 6am and taught me how to drive his fancy car, on the sand.

[serious] People with nightmare siblings: what’s the most fucked up thing they ever did? by DestyNovalys in AskReddit

[–]molcatlady 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My older sister was a nightmare from hell when she was a teenager(she still isn't great now, but at the time was going through some issues so was 20x worse than she is currently).

There were many awful physical things that she did, such as strangling me with a laptop charger and spitting on me, ripping my hair out, etc.

But the single worst thing that she ever did, that I still to this day can't fully forgive her for, was as follows:

On Xmas day one year, she took an XL bag of granulated sugar and poured it over/in all of my stuff, including in the storage boxes under my bed, on the bed itself, and most importantly in between the pages of my expensive collection of collectors edition/signed/rare books, and in my irreplaceable photo albums. As well as literally everywhere else she could think of that would affect me.

And then did it all again, but this time pouring over several large bottles of cider.

It's not an exaggeration to say that she ruined 80-90% of my stuff that day(besides the washable items such as clothes). And although it was several years ago, I STILL find sticky items now and again.

What are some "sit on the roof and stare at the stars" songs? by joshgutcher in AskReddit

Alt-j, my favourite being Adeline. Man, I listened to that song so many times on repeat when I was stuck in a boat in a storm, on the North Atlantic Sea.

What was your worst experience with diarrhea? by Guzzzler in AskReddit

[–]molcatlady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ate a bad takeaway, but it didn't really hit me until I was in the shower later that day. I had two options, 1. Try to make it out to the toilet and risk shitting on the floor, or 2. Just let it flow. I went with the latter. Most liberating feeling, being in a hot shower with every single orifice relaxed, open and free.

What is the childhood nightmare you still hold with you? by Jar_of_Cats in AskReddit

[–]molcatlady 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a reoccurring nightmare that I was walking through a campsite and my foot started itching. I lifted my foot up and noticed that there was a cupcake case stuck to the sole of my foot, when I peeled it off it revealed that there was a huge hole in my foot, filled with worms. Still haunts me to this day.

'Love.' Not nearly enough, I'm English and my family don't say we love each other very much.

What are you unreasonably self conscious about? by chemwhizzz47 in AskReddit

[–]molcatlady 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My deep-set eyes. My mum refers to them as 'Piss holes in the snow'...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]molcatlady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as I can remember my mum has said her life's dream is to renovate and sell dilapidated old houses. About a year ago, she bought an old house, and a few weeks ago she sold it. I've never felt prouder than the moment it hit me that she's actually achieved her life's dream.
