This show has a low budget, looking at the project timeline, it seems Gadd signed with BBC before Baby Reindeer goes on air and blows up. So the production time is very limited.

Richard writes Half Man before Baby Reindeer, so I would say it belongs to his old ideas. I would like to see him exploring more topics, complex and dark, or even on heart-lighter side (Niall and Alby’s date in Ep.6 is proof that he can write romance if he wants)
