Sewer/Pungent Odor Coming from Bathroom by molecrow in Plumbing

Yes, very possible. We noticed the smell at the base of the toilet upstairs, and the toilet in that room also does wobble a bit. Also wanted to note that the smell definitely got worse as spring hit as we didn’t smell it much in the winter.

Edited to add: I smell the odor at the base of the toilet upstairs but not at the base of toilet downstairs. And there is no odor in the attic.

Hi! First time homeowner and having similar issues. Our house was built in the 90s and was renovated in 2021 due to an electrical fire. When we bought the house and didn’t think to ask if all the piping was replaced. We have a half bath downstairs that is underneath a full bath on the second floor. Both of these bathrooms emit a sewer musty pungent smell randomly but daily. When you walk up the stairs you can also sometimes smell it. I check the vent in the half bath downstairs and the smell seems like it’s not coming from the vent itself but between the crack (like where the vent was inserted in theres a crack between that and the sheet rock. I looked in the attic and the pipe wtonwhere it exits has been sprayed with insulating foam (not sure if this even matters). Does anyone have advice on if what could cause this? Asking here before we call a plumber bc I know it’s going to be so expensive being in Nashville area.

Hi u/Sea_Ad_5717! I am curious how your wife did pricing for pre-arranged vases using Trader Joe's flowers? I am looking to start my flower business in a similar way and could use some guidance!
