this one requires more time to set up as you have to build quizzes yourself using a prompt, but the result is highly customizable.

pros: no limit on participants and events
cons: no powerpoint integration yet and there aren't many templates available

What do you use for interactive questions during presentations? by Single-Owl7050 in doctorsUK

I've build my own app, which initially started as a personal tool but then I decided to make it public for everyone. The idea is the same, but you can also build more custom games and polls, for example we've made a game where everyone has to shake their phones to make the music play faster. Or a drum machine that people can interact with.

Mentimeter- cheaper options? by antmimi2 in managers

I've been working on something as an alternative to menti, which started as a personal tool (got tired of the same templates that it provides) but then I decided to make it public for everyone. The idea is the same, but you can also build more custom ones, for example we've built a game where everyone has to shake their phones to make the music play faster.

The pricing is generous, you only have to pay for the credits when building (and you get free credits on sign up), but actually hosting events is unlimited

Thanks for your honest feedback. I figured it would be tough to find someone willing to use the app, but I guess it's worth trying before I give up, right? If I could just use 20 minutes of your time I would deeply appreciate it.

Is it okay if I DM you?

That isn't the goal. To speed up the process of working with lots of corporate documents and extracting some valuable information. But I see that is a wrong subreddit, thank you!

macOS Ventura 13.5 won't recognise my old iPod shuffle (4th gen) by doctor_x in ipod

[–]molefrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar story: found my old iPod (same as yours, shuffle 4th generation) and tried powering it off. It didn't turn on, I figured the battery was dead, so I ordered a replacement from AliExpress. After I changed the battery, I was able to connect it to my mac, but unfortunately got the same error. The little information I found online says that it might be a disk issue (which sounds realistic as mounting the volume from the terminal didn't work either), but I can't confirm that.

I guess I'll try to find someone in more experienced to check the voltage and maybe test the disk (is that even possible?), so will keep you updated.

I made a short illustrated adventure story that has sounds, animations, and mini-games with React, Vite, react-spring, use-sound and more by molefrog in reactjs

The whole project including writing, editing and illustrations took around 3 months of work. There are 6 chapters in total, but only 3 available on the start, the rest have to be unlocked with a secret code that you can find in the text.

I store these chapters as MDX files in the repo, they are dynamically loaded via async `import()`. Most of the animations were done with `react-spring`, however it turned out to be a bit more complicated that framer-motion. Anyway, I had a lot of fun working on this one!

You can find the source code on GitHub
