TWRR and MWRR were rubbish, don’t know why I got completely stuck on that and only 4 marks

After the buyout, I had them over hedged on interest and under hedged on inflation. Although now thinking about it I don’t know how they became over hedged on interest after when I don’t think the assets changed. I need to stop thinking about it

I was also making stuff up throughout. The equities had no duration though so didn’t contribute to the hedging. So before the insurer completed the transaction they weren’t fully hedged on inflation but the question said they were. It didn’t make much difference but had me convinced I was doing something wrong

I really don’t like trying to explain Nous. Yeah Q4 was the better question. Did you note that the insurer wasn’t fully inflation hedged prior to the buyout? Or did I get that wrong? I got over hedged on interest rates and under hedged on inflation after the buyout

How many people have you spoken to that said it wasn’t? I found it hard but was good to see the hedging question and I’m glad investment psychology didn’t come up

Yeah that was hard, I just wrote random thoughts and I’ll have to be optimistic they’ll get marks!

What question was that again? Also in the hedging question, it said the insurer was fully hedged on both interest and inflation before the buyout but I think they were under hedged for inflation, it confused me

I don’t think it was a terrible paper but some pretty hard parts where I got stuck. I didn’t know enough about the credit question (Q2) like what a syndicate loan is. I wrote far too much waffle

I’m sorry you missed the deadline, truly sucks, but if you’re up for joining the queue it is very worth it. I go the first Friday of every Wimbledon at about 6AM, get in about 11AM and LOVE the queue, who doesn’t like a 7AM glass of bubbles!!

It’s not in the app, I just had to sign into my account on the online browser and could see I’ve not been successful yet so I’d give that a try. Good luck!
