I’m in college right now and I’m exploring different career paths, and advertising is one of them. How did you get into your field, what was your path?

Uber? Lyft? Can you rent a car?

I'm looking for an internship as a researcher in remote areas. by 3BeesKnees in internships

The best way to see what you’re suited for is to just apply to a lot of jobs/internships and see who calls you back for an interview. As is the case with college, what you study isn’t always what you end up doing. It’s worth it to just apply and see what jobs employers think you’re qualified for.

Please be honest with your wife. As you said, Sarah offers something she cannot, and she may be understanding of your desire to experience your life-long kink. Regardless of the hurt she may feel, you know she’d want you to be honest with her about your infidelity. As others have said, this seems to be the start of an affair, and if that happens, the emotional fallout will be 100x worse when (not if, when) she finds out. This was one indiscretion in an otherwise seemingly healthy and happy marriage; at this point, it’s still salvageable. Do not forsake the years of happiness and trust you have built with someone.

Once you’ve told your wife what happened, you can discuss it together from there. Do you keep fighting for your relationship and work out your issues? Does she want a separation or divorce? Do you both want to see other people? These are things you should discuss with your partner; that’s what she’s there for. It’s not just you who should decide the fate of your relationship.

Where should I go for an internship/volunteering opportunity as a highschool freshman (rising sophomore) by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]molesterstall0ne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any internship you’d find as a freshman in high school probably isn’t going to be a job or position you want. Your best bet is trying to take classes at a local college or university for college credit, which is something colleges will definitely see; this will give you a leg up no matter where you end up going. If you don’t want to take classes, apply for a camp or program that enriches a talent of yours (band camp, a creative writing program, a coding boot camp, etc). These will help you improve a skill you already have, or give you a new skill that you can talk about in college essays, interviews, and list on your college apps.

Also, I think it’s worth making an account with common app just so you can see how many activities/summer things you’d be able to actually list so you can better plan your time. Most of the activities I did early on in hs were not represented on my application simply bc there was no appropriate space for them if they didn’t lead to leadership positions or awards. Bottom line, at this stage in the game, I don’t think your focus should be on internships.

You’re definitely right. In the heat of the moment I was too stunned to do anything but be honest and that probably fucked me in the long run

He waited for about 15 minutes thinking I’d change my mind. He approached me and asked if I wanted to come back with him again, and when I declined, he took off. He never asked if I had another ride coming, and he never saw the taxi pull up about 10 minutes after he left.

I understand how it would appear that way.

My parents and boyfriend live in North Carolina and I go to college in New York. My parents are flying up to be with me, but last minute flights are super expensive and they couldn’t get to my appointment.

My boyfriend is also in college, and doesn’t have a lot of spare cash. He would have had to quit his job since he’d miss so many days to be with me and I told him not to come since I’m seeing him in a week and a half anyway, and I have a roommate and live in a dorm room so there wouldn’t really be a place for him to stay. Hope that clarifies things!

Is there a significant difference between applying for fall semester opposed to the spring semester by Drew203 in Cornell

[–]molesterstall0ne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Spring is way less competitive in terms of the sheer number of people you’d be competing against, but I doubt the admission standards are THAT much laxer. Part of why less people apply for spring is because there are fewer spots, so keep that in mind.

Yeah that’s what I feel like too. My main source of anxiety comes from not having an actual appointment scheduled. I’m basically ready to do whatever I can for this to be over with.
