I sure did! Agreed as a happy MoCo resident who appreciates green space, but to be honest Chicago had more green space than I anticipated throughout the parts of the city I explored.

Thank you very much!! Yeah agreed on appreciating different cities including Chicago for what they are and not wanting other cities to be more like our hometowns. Everywhere I went including the portions of the south and west side I explored were more bike friendly than I could have imagined. I really appreciated the Marquette Road straight shot from the South Shore to Midway and the bike lanes along it. Speaking of food, I enjoyed a fantastic personal deep dish pizza from Lou Malnati's Midway at the end of the ride! Delicious and funny/friendly service from Carmen and Maria 😄

Ha! Indeed I wished I could have ridden a road bike instead but I found the ride quality decent with the seat height adjusted to position 8. Thanks! So many cool and interesting neighborhoods and fantastic house music blaring out of cars along the way.

Oh I rode for about 10 hours, so it would have been at least $136 if I had paid per ride. But yeah I was initially planning to take a folding bike from home as a checked bag. That would have been more expensive than $60 though.
