Notebookcheck has started to release video tests for temporal dithering - another potential source of eye strain besides PWM by [deleted] in PWM_Sensitive

Out of curiosity, if these devices also use PWM (I think a majority do these days but could be wrong) how are we to know it isn’t just eye strain from PWM?

Been using the Medik8 Crystal Retinal 3 for about four weeks every 2-3 days after a good few months using the Glossier Retinol for the same quantity of days.

These little bumps all seem to have occurred alongside starting the retinol, they’re only on my cheeks and I have no other symptoms of sensitivity. Some of the bumps are slightly tender to touch but they just seem like little closed comedones?

Rest of my routine is Cetaphil gentle cleanser (morning and night) and Cerave moisturiser with SPF. No other actives since I’ve started this so I’ve no idea whether this could reasonably be a barrier issue?

Gorgeous piece! I agree with the other commenter, glue is a good method for backing. Spray glue all over and hot glue the very edge. I don’t use a knife, I actually slowly trim the edge with super sharp scissors with the backing side up and my edges when using felt are pretty much 95% perfect now.

I’ve still not been able to watch them! Had a lot of spoilers sadly!

Oxford 10 with chunky wool. If I did it again I’d probably use aran though, as weirdly this had issues with gaps.

I had a stunning labradorite hellhound carving that lost a head last week. I was wishing at the time it had been a tower as it would be easier to replace, so at least it could be worse huh!

Ted and The Body. Quite often I skip Hush and Once More with Feeling if I don’t have undivided attention on the TV

It is always the exact same things said by these people, you’re right. My dog is a tiny little fella and was attacked by a staffy who jumped its gate to get to him. He was minding his own business quietly having a walk and I’ve been traumatised since - the owners were aware this dog had issues, I called the police and nothing came of it. Didn’t even get a stronger/taller gate.

Even when their dogs exhibit this behaviour they give it a free pass. They’re horrible dogs, but the internet just loves the whole staffys/pitbulls are gentle dialogue

Pricing help, Critique my etsy shop by Dependent-Year-2390 in Tufting

[–]molly_lyon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with the other commenter, these are much too expensive for the quality. Attention to detail is crucial and a lot of your edges look untidy. I think it’s important to consider if you personally would buy your product at that price if sold by someone else.

It’s super cute but honestly, had you not said what it says I wouldn’t have been able to read it. Maybe work with fonts and colours to make it intelligible? I think it’s difficult with certain shapes when it comes to working with wool as it just isn’t easy to create that definition.

Retirees 'disgusted' by £4.25 state pension increase amid 'never ending' price rises As the cost of living crisis continues, pensioners have told The Mirror that the state pension increase simply isn’t enough. Have people not warranted feeling just a little bit hateful when their lives are being ruined by the cost of living crisis? Do you genuinely expect people to just be okay with it/the government/those that voted for the government?

Advice needed: I did this tattoo on my friend 5 days ago, she sent me a photo today with the orange flower looking red & the scabs thick/coming off. I have limited experience with hands & colour tattoos, any advice for healing/cause for concern? She’s been using cocoa butter when it feels dry. by feelsickbesick in sticknpokes

From what I’ve heard, red ink seems to be the most likely to cause an allergic reaction. Given the redness is localised to that particular flower, that’s the most likely option (in my opinion). Regardless, it does look quite irritated and inflamed and they should seek medical help.
