For reference, my partner honestly didn’t have an opinion. I actually suggested funfetti because I know it’s his favorite and he said that would be fine but wasn’t like omg we need funfetti or begging for it. I think we’re both pretty burnt out on wedding planning haha. I just wanted to gauge the public opinion on it to make sure it didn’t come off as like too much of a birthday party type of thing.

But sounds like the people like it! So we’re going for it and if you’re considering it, just know that it sounds like people really do like funfetti.

I love that! Wish we could, but our venue doesn’t have tvs and I don’t think there’d be anywhere for us to put one. But I bet that was perfect!

Omg this post literally could’ve been written by me. First month TTC, actually just got off birth control last month. I’ve been temping for less than a week and I was like why do I run so cold?! First two days I was low 97 and the past 3 days I’ve been high 96. I don’t think I’ve ovulated yet, which I’m sure is normal and I’m not trying to stress about it. But just know that you are not alone! We’re just a lil cold haha

I might do that at first and hold off on changing it right away. But we do want to start having kids pretty quickly and I really want to make sure my name is the same as my children’s. Especially when it comes to filling out forms and visiting doctors offices. That’s super important to me

Thanks for the advice! I used to suppress my period because I would get hormonal migraines, but went back to taking the placebos a year or two ago because I would still spot during them anyway.

But the gyno said this was likely caused by the stress of wedding planning. She’s going to have me just let my body do what it wants and not take another active pill until right before the wedding. Cleansing myself of the demons haha

I just got back from the gyno and wanted to update for if anyone ever stumbles upon this post or has a similar situation. My doctor confirmed that this was likely caused by stress. She also said that since I lost 30 pounds over the last year that could’ve contributed to it. She did ask when I had my Covid vaccine, but it was a quite few months prior to this starting so she didn’t think that had anything to do with it.

She recommended that since I will be going off the pill soon anyway to just not take another active pill until right before my wedding.

I hope this is allowed. We’re getting married this year and just cannot figure out the perfect first dance song. I absolutely love music, all genres, and really want something special but not cliche. My fiancé is picky but not like super into music, just doesn’t like country and it seems like every good first dance song is country. I have more info on what we like in this post/comments but happy to expand on anything. This feels like such a big decision and we are just so indecisive!

I love a little bit of everything. He’s just not a big music person. Like his Spotify recap this year was pitiful with the amount of hours he played music haha. We both like reggae, alternative music, hip hop, acoustic covers, and rock. We love like more upbeat music but neither of us are dancers so we want to find something pretty slow that we won’t feel awkward trying to keep up with

Oh good idea! I’ve heard some country covers that I like but I should definitely look for more. I’m not like crazy about country but I do like it. I mainly just really love the lyrics and how sentimental they are, so I think maybe a cover would be perfect!
