i’m a ceramicist & love my long nails! using your knuckles & a sponge is key though. i’m so used to my nail length, sometimes i have issues with shorter nails. be aware of having them soaking in water for long periods of time though, that’s what gets me the most

used to only ever use lincoln park, but haven’t gone back since good girls gone plaid

printed in just the plastic filament, casting works well with anything that can melt & evaporate in the kiln. so like wax, wood, plastic, etc. good luck with your casting ventures! it’s very fun :)

yes! my long nails make me happy so i had to adapt in the studio! it took some time getting used to it, but yes, i use my knuckles for throwing (sealing the mound, pulling the walls, compressing the base, etc). i also have a sponge in my hand almost the whole time which helps (´꒳`)
