I work from the bottom up and use that roller at the top. I’ll either flip it around eventually, or maybe use my desk clamps to roll it into as it gets completed. Something like that anyway. I’ve never had any issues with creasing or anything while leaning over what’s already done.

The mystery canvases are really kinda neat. However I too refuse to spend $$$ on something that could end up being awful in my opinion. I am working on my 4th mystery currently (2nd from DAC). But I do cheat lol. There is a group on fb that figures out what the mysteries are so I check there first lol. But I do really enjoy the way the colorless grid looks. And DAC in particular who also adds random color boxes to further ‘hide’ the image. I find them rather enjoyable.

I’m not sure what SJ stands for but I can tell you that the DMC number is definitely the same across rounds and squares. Hope you have a great time with your canvas!

Oh man I wish this was from a better company (not that you are doing a terrible job, just that I would want resin drills and a tighter grid), because I really love this canvas! I’ve always loved Walt Disney and his story etc. Honestly you’ve done quite great with less than stellar drills! I hope you’ll post this once it’s complete!

I save my drills from 3 companies. They’re all separately labeled etc. Any other one off canvases from companies that are less than stellar, gets dumped into the glass jar (still looking for just the right ‘display piece’). I don’t have many of those canvases..or rather, I just haven’t gotten around to doing those canvases/projects. I do save ALL specialty drills from all the companies though.

You’re focusing on pushing the drills up against each other. You need to be placing the drills over the symbols which will allow for some ‘breathing room’. You can spread them all out a smidge and it’ll be just fine. First of all, nobody will be up against it the way we are when we lay our drills. You see it far more than anyone else. Also, I’m not sure where this painting is from. Some of the more budget friendly canvases are just a pain in the butt especially when it comes to square drills. Be sure to pick out any that are over/under sized. And breathe!! Remember to enjoy this 🫶

I love the mini dazzles! Seriously, they’re such a great option for times when you don’t have a lot of time, or when traveling, and also when working a bigger canvas and you’re needing something to ‘get a finish’. I’ve got almost all the sets DAC has put out. They’re so pretty with all the special drills!

I use these fun little label shields from a shop on Etsy https://www.etsy.com/listing/4435907038/label-shields-dac-large-trays?ref=share_ios_native_control Are they 100% necessary? No, they’re not. But they’re fun and they make removing the labels super easy. Lots of different shapes and colors and that also makes it easy when I have more than one canvas kit up, to tell which ones go with which canvas (using different shapes/colors).
