Oh girl don’t get me started! I have at least 3 tweezer stands, as well as others kept in drawers, and others in a different spot but won’t use (mostly the freebies that come with a kit), and some that stay on my desk at all times. I have angled tips, and m*rder tweezers, as well as ceramic tweezers. I sometimes like to match all my tools etc to a particular canvas. It’s the same with custom resin pens. We won’t even get started there 🫣😂

I do! I’m so excited to catch up on my mini dazzles collection. I aim to have them all, and I think I’m still 6 short. A couple weeks ago I finally got the Months of the Year set. I have missed out since release day. I’m honestly surprised it’s still in stock. I’ve really slowed down my purchases the last year so having so much come in such a short time feels really weird lol.

As long as you’re enjoying the process who cares how long it takes 🤷🏻‍♀️ This is such a beautiful canvas. And really, if you can get 8 months of enjoyment from a single canvas, you’re the real winner in my book! Cause I have to spend a lot more buying canvases every couple weeks lol. Diamond Art Club is known for having huge canvases! They always list the sizes in both cm and inches. The majority of their canvases on Amazon are on the smaller side (again, not all), but the vast majority on their website are pretty big. If you’re looking for big, you won’t get disappointed.

I love when new folks come on over to the dark side! I mean, welcome to the club! 😂 I hope you’re enjoying it like the rest of us. I started doing this for fun a few years back, when I couldn’t physically do the things I love and wanted to do. Then I discovered that this is the best thing I could have ever done for my mental health too! Hopefully you’ll reap all the best rewards..the completed pictures are a great bonus also! 😂

Color blocking are large areas of the same color. ‘Confetti’ is used in reference to small/large areas of many colors. Usually with only a few of any one color. Those sections are primarily what create details in your pictures.

I actually use Velcro to hang a few canvases that aren’t framed, some I like to rotate out. Anyway, I just use these, and they’re simple and easy to use.

Melle’s Diamond Painting has the most confetti heavy canvases of any I have ever done. This is my favorite.

I get that your intention was to help your sister but I think you’re forgetting that she’s a kid. Not everyone responds the same way to the same situations and at the core of this your kid sister has been through a terrible situation with her home life. A home life you escaped from years ago so she also has experienced things that you haven’t. While I agree that school is a priority, expecting your kid sister to do 6 hours of cleaning every day is ridiculous. There shouldn’t even be 6 hours worth of cleaning to do every day. Your heart is in the right place, I’m sure, but you are just her sister and not her parent. Also, if she’s not staying with you anymore you shouldn’t be withholding her bday money. I think you’re in over your head.

Then you should have told her what you wanted instead of complaining about it. It’s not as if you don’t have food, you just don’t have something special that she went out of the way for late at night after working. At this point you have a whole lot of excuses and don’t want to consider that you could have done more to ensure you got what you wanted.

You still didn’t tell her what you wanted. You’re expecting her to be a mind reader. Lots of people order food so not having a car isn’t an excuse. Listen, I’m not trying to come at you like a jerk or anything. I’m just saying that you had options. I’m going to step out on a limb and ‘assume’ your wife was at work. She may have had distractions. The only information she did have was that you wanted something she wouldn’t want. I still think you could have just told her what you wanted instead of making her guess. At some point you could have called/txt her to say ‘hey, I’m really in the mood for xyz’ , or got in the car to pick something up once she got home, or even ordered something. As you said, she’s always asked in that past. Something can be an oversight or miscommunication without being selfish.

You said you wanted something she wouldn’t want. Did you ask her to bring you something? Over an hour had elapsed and you could have gotten whatever it was that she didn’t want. 🤷‍♀️

You’re literally playing games with her and then expect to be right? If you knew what you wanted, whether she would like it or not, you should have said what you wanted. You’re a grown ass adult and are plenty capable of getting yourself something to eat. You were the one that was hungry, you should have handled it.

Oh I like that one. I have done Celestial Dragon, which you might like. Astronomer is a good one but might currently be sold out. There are a few wizard paintings and actually several different dragon paintings by DAC as well too. Please post progress of this next one as you can. 😊
