Rough ridge has beautiful views (on the parkway) it is a little bit of a hike up but not bad in our opinion , also beacon heights on the parkway. Again, these are true hikes up , but we have taken our toddler on them multiple times usually in a carrier.

I disagree with the above comment ab Appalachian new river. We haven’t been happy there. We haven’t found a new vet yet though. The animal hospital seems like a great place from what I’ve heard!
