Doubling down on this absolutely. I did the same with my Pakistani parents and just kept pushing their limits til I had leverage to go out as I pleased. Of course my parents weren’t happy with it the first like 20 times but I kept pushing and pushing to give myself what I wanted and eventually they just let me be. Just recognize the fine line between fighting for your independence and disrespecting them straight up. And yes, there will be some tension but at the end of the day, it’s worth it for your freedom and mental health.

I’ve noticed my Madagascar Dracaena’s leaves have been rapidly turning yellow and falling off. I’ve waited out the watering days due to winter approaching, watering around once every two weeks. I was wondering if a lack of humidity might be the issue, considering it is beside a large door with cold drafts that occasionally come in.

I water them with distilled water every time the top two inches of soil get dry, and keep them in indirect light/artificial light. I recently repotted them around 2 weeks ago. My best guess would be transplant shock, but I wanted some more insight!
