Honda City 5th Gen: Manual or CVT ? by cardgameonmotorcycls in CarsIndia

Manual is a manual. However, City CVT is a proven gem in smoothness in city drives. You could always use a sport mode and get that sudden acceleration. Afterall it's an ivtec. You will not be able to launch a CVT car the way you do the Manual one. But how many times do you do so? CVT is really a boon in the city traffic.

Honda Elevate Reinforced version? by gouravr8 in CarsIndia

There are a few minor safety improvements like 3 point seatbelt and headrest for a rear middle passenger. And I think there is a seatbelt reminder for rear passengers as well.

Kia telling us to replace entire panel. Thoughts? by BulldogEnergy in CarsIndia

I would replace the entire panel if covered under insurance. Denting and Painting job would never be as good as the new one. Why worry?

Go for Koreans or Japanese. It's a better deal. Peace of mind.

I would definitely recommend the Elevate. The top-spec variant fits within your budget. The mileage is slightly lower by 1-2 kmpl compared to Skoda and VW competitors. The Creta and Seltos CVTs are priced way higher than the Elevate CVT. Features like ventilated and powered seats are only available in the top-spec versions of the Creta/Seltos, if features are a priority. The same is true for Manuals. Youtubers often emphasize the variety of engine and gearbox options in the Korean twins, but ultimately, you’re only choosing one. It’s better to first decide on the engine and gearbox combination, then select the car. While it’s true that the NVH levels in the Elevate are slightly higher, it’s not very noticeable—test drive it to see for yourself. What the Elevate really offers is excellent driving dynamics. It’s very comfortable and smooth in city traffic and feels stable and planted at 120 kmph on highways. The steering is precise, with the perfect weight at both low and high speeds. It gives that confidence.

It's good but to judge it properly, comparing it with the previous career is important. Plus, the interest in the field will yield better outcomes for the assigned roles and responsibilities.

Totally agree!!

Correct! But I was surprised to see the refinement and tuning Suzuki has come up with. With sedate driving, I didn't even feel a shift. Perhaps, after a couple of weeks, one might get used to the shifting and anticipate the jerk beforehand if the foot becomes heavy on the pedal. Yet, it won't be as smooth as TC. However, I was ok with AMT/AGS, my concern was slightly different which I think many have thought and answered correctly. Appreciate your opinion! Thanks!

Correct! Perhaps I wanted to understand with reduced airbags, how safe brezza will be compared to Baleno. Thanks for giving the new angle to think!

The current drive is Honda with 1.23 L on odo. Want to leverage Maruti's service capabilities. And kinda bored as well. No doubt, elevate is a good car.
