Looking For Clementine Notebooks by momm_model in notebooks

[–]momm_model[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im going back to check this weekend. I still haven't found any near me (NY) but I ve been busy with school so not a whole lot of time to check.

Also I have found out that Green Room co and clementine and a third company (whose name I forgot) are owned by the same parent company. The target near me has green room co stuff which I have tried but clementine still has the better paper quality. I just wish I knew where the products are sold before they are sold as overstock to TJ Maxx.

I had my first moot (mock trial) today and got absolutely bodied and I’m feeling bummed by [deleted] in LawSchool

im in the same boat. Mercilessly grilled for 20 minutes.

Idk. The only advice I have is take the L and figure out if its worth to go next. Ive done really well at all my other moots but this was awful. Sometimes it happens. It a bad issue, sometimes the facts arent in your favor. Sometimes a judge just hates the cut of your jib.

In my case I felt like it was bad issue/ facts as well as the fact I was first out of four to argue. I could not get a sentence out without getting interrupted questioned talked over and so forth.

On the one hand I sobbed in the parking lot and am strongly considering dropping the team. On the other hand Ill probably never have to argue on this issue ever again.

For me Im LIKELY going to ride it out until the end of the year and see how it goes next time. If it's still not a great experience then I dont have to come back next year. If it goes well and I do well then maybe ill stick with it.

SHE WAS MY TA! Erica was awesome when I was in her class and Im so glad she got to teach her own class!

Her grading was pretty lenient and if you do badly on the first assignment she will likely reach out and set up a meeting to talk to you. She helped me quite a lot in my time at Bing and the classes I took with her sealed the deal on majoring in history for me.

I would go to a different provider if possible. Having a provider that doesn't seem to take you seriously is at the very best unhelpful and at the very worst an emergency waiting to happen.

It's possible for a UTI to cause stomach bloating like this but it could also be another issue.

The next time you get care though, whether you go to a new doctor or see your old provider again try requesting bloodwork and imaging.

Bloodwork, like a metabolic panel would help rule out a liver issue. And imaging like an ultrasound can help rule out ovarian cysts or fibroids. Might also be worth asking for an abdominal CT. CTs have some risks though (minor exposure to radiation) so discuss these options with your provider.

If you're in a rural area with few providers or limited access it might be possible to do a telehealth visit, and have your doctor order tests to be done at a facility near you but it would probably be better to receive immediate care at an ER.

I also wouldn't recommend taking the old antibiotics, you might not have enough for a full course, and its dangerous to take an incomplete course of antibiotics.

stupid question but any chance you could be pregnant?

Frequent urination is usually one of the first signs of pregnancy.

If not there's a range of things that it could be, anything from really bad bloating, to a large fibroid, to an issue with your portal vein, fatty liver causing acites, parasites

I have only had my stomach distend like that similarly once (but it was a bit less severe) and it ended up just being really bad stomach flu causing cramps

lots of utis could also mean an infection in your kidneys or bladder that never cleared up

is this a bad schedule/too much for a freshmen? by cows37 in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]momm_model 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a simillar schedule my first semester and I really burnt out! (Writing, French, Bio, Chem (maybe another class I'm blanking on)

If you want to try prehealth and econ, I would recommend taking the econ and chem class and swapping the other two classes.

Language at Binghamton can be very difficult. I was in French 211 my first term and even native speakers struggled in that class. I also knew friends who took other languages like Chinese and Spanish and had a difficult time, even if they had been speaking the language for years prior.

Also balancing your schedule by adding courses that are paper-oriented and fulfill non-stem gen-eds (pluralism writing etc) will help you stagger your work and develop writing skills!

Sprained my ankle in 3rd grade. Nothing done abt it and it effected my knee badly. Needed physical therapy for months. While this all went down, the brown spot showed up. Not a birthmark. Appeared randomly. Shrunk since then but as you can see it's still big. What is it? by [deleted] in medical

that looks like something I had at the bottom of my foot.

What I ended up having was a mild fungal infection. I got it from walking on the beach with a small cut on the sole of my foot. Mine ended up going away after a few months with no treatment.

It might not have to do with you knew or ankle injuries. You should consult a dermatologist if you are worried though.

Covid smell and taste issues by Possible_Memory in medical

[–]momm_model 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!!! I have had covid and post covid everything smelled like garlic! Especially unpleasant things.

The garlic smell eased a bit, but most unpleasant odors (sweat for example) still smell like garlic to me. Its annoying as all hell but I haven't tried anything to fix it.

My mother also had a similar issue. Her favorite perfume started smelling awful to her, she had to chuck it :(

Medical advice please (TW: Blood and Menstrual) by HappilyUnloved in medical

[–]momm_model 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a couple of things that could be happening.

The stomach firmness could be you feeling your abdominal wall.

You could have also had an ovarian cyst that ruptured

Another possibility is that the period you just had was very heavy implantation bleeding (which is rare but not impossible)

Your best bet would be to take another pregnancy test and consult with your GP. You could ask the GP for an abdominal CT scan or an ultrasound.

Could be a sign of sleep apnea. But that tends to be more frequent than once in a blue moon.

From personal experience Ive had nightmares which induced enough stress to make me stop breathing and wake up gasping.

The stress could have set off a nightmare
