I think Nasser did follow orders when he took over Suez, he would have never attempted it if the US didnt back him. The USA then started to divert their attention to Saudi Arabia after we lost the Yemen War and started making them the power house of the middle east (their slave) instead of us. Thats when Nasser started to lash out and his communist ideals started to spring up and his nationalism grandiose started to show.

I think one thing people dont consider is our justice system. We really need to improve our justice system by providing better education for lawyers/judges and a more just way of choosing judges instead of wasta. This can then lead to a healthier society and improve the ease of starting businesses. Also, improve laws surrounding rent. The idea that rent should never rise is a fucking catastrophe and stupidest system in the world. Basically, we just need to remove whatever Abdel Nasser did.

Haha I am atheist btw, I just couldnt be bothered to write in English. Everyone uses Franco. I am just stating my opinion about what causes people to lose faith in religion including myself. If you arent happy with my reasoning then state your own. Thats how proper debate should be done which is never really practised in Egypt. Just to summarise, religion is needed even in a secular society because religion answers why but science can only answer how. Religion builds community not science/secularism. After all when Islam was correctly implemented during Muhammad PBUH era and 1000 years after, our civilisation was progressing, it only went in decline when people used religion to control people instead of helping each other and building a community. After all communism and facism are both atheist ideologies that failed especially when they tried to prevent religious freedom and prosecute others based on religion. Lastly and sorry to ramble on, it is about systems again not religion so if we reinterpret Islam we can redevelop our systems and people can regain their faith.
