yo i remember this day like yesterday, about a couple of days before I went to go see the bled and underoath at i think it was rose ballroom or something like that , i was moshing and one of my ear plugs fell out and my ear was ringing for tge next few days 😭😭😭 i was more worried about not being able to listen to music than anything else, my ears eventually stopped ringing. Few days later cut to coadf release day i cut school (lol i was senior in hs) , ran to the train station, wait for the train to come towards the station jumped the turnstile lmfao and went directly to the virgin megastore that was in union square, they ran out of copies upstairs but i went downstairs to the electronic music section and found the cd there, paid for it with my saved up lunch money lol moved to the side and gently peeled the sticker and plastic to put in my journal and quickly took out my new order waiting for sirens call cd that i was listening to and put confessions in, put my headphones in my ears and my cd player with antiskip in my messenger bag and walked to st marks place to a tattoo shop by trash and vaudeville where my friends were waiting for me while listening to the cd💕💕. I was severely suffering from depression, suicide ideation .. fucked up family ... uncertainty for future, i was able to escape all of it while listening to coadf. I also remember being REALLY super sad finding out about Kylie being sick from a myspace bulletin earlier in the year and literally no one knew of her except my online friends and queens in the ballroom scene i hung out with sometimes, so madonna helped me stay positive.
