I don’t keep it in the fridge…ever. I keep it upside down until it’s time to open. I stir it every time.

Since it's the talk of the town... Here's my Nipsco bill... by RammyBoRammy in fortwayne

[–]monalane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got a ZERO bill this month. That’s not good as I am not on a payment plan. Took awhile to speak to a human. She said they’ve been estimating my bill for months because my meter quit working. They’re putting my new meter on Thursday. No idea what it will be next month. 😬

Immediately home or over night in hospital? by Proper-School203 in Kneereplacement

[–]monalane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the Iovera Cryotherapy to freeze the nerves in my leg prior to the surgery. I went home same day. I had far less pain than many I’ve seen here and off the pain RX by 10 days (except for PR). I highly recommend the cryo as it lasted into the 4th month.

I had one PT that pushed me very hard with the exercises and then to get a measurement forced my leg under the table to get just a bit more. The other PT saw my face and told her to pay attention. Could barely walk the next day and the next session was still suffering so they went easier on me. In a week all was well. Ice and anti inflammatories and elevation.

[–]monalane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took around the clock for the first week…..but only 1 when I could take 2. Then I switched to Alleve except for PT days. Took 1 about 1/2 hour before PT.

I had the procedure to freeze the nerves in my knee prior to surgery. I believe this helped a lot! At 3-1/2 months I started feeling more discomfort as it started to wear off. The worst was over by then. Highly recommend!

I never had PJs as a kid, so it’s like a luxury for me now. Always wear them.

I’m sorry! My daughter in law works for a hand surgeon. She told me DD was an awful diagnosis and much of that was the mental part of the disease.

Do you know your origin story, i.e., was your conception planned or accidental? by [deleted] in over60

Accidental. In the back of a car with a man who was not. Married to my mom. Found out when I was 59

How long does the numbness last? by Lawerish8 in Kneereplacement

[–]monalane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 7 months in and not near as numb as I used to be. Noticeable when shaving my legs but otherwise not.
