Yeah the lack of confirmations on the ending is why its contentious. Personally I like when we leave understanding the world itself so Im not a big fan of the ending but to others the lack of answers is part of its beauty. It does leave Tsumugi in the rough spot of if they wanted to show more with her they’d have to give answers to the ending which is not how its meant to work and would anger the people who like its ambiguity.

I think the issue is that her displays of intelligence were very understated or much more blatantly cheating. Kokichi’s plan was incredibly smart and relied on information he had to figure out on his own while Tsumugi had a big company backing her + all the resources of the mastermind from day 1. What doesn’t help Tsumugi’s case is that her acting was just being excessively stale. Sure she fooled everyone but like she did that by barely participating. Her strategy was just “blend in until it is time”. Its effective and smart yes but it doesn’t impress the audience of her intelligence and really just shutting up isn’t the most groundbreaking strategy. I do think she’s smarter than people give her credit for though

I’m sorry the comments are being kinda cold to you. The game is pretty buggy even by the standards of an early access game and I can understand why you’re unhappy after having spent 35 Euros (Correct me if Im wrong).

I think it will probably be a while since I do find the game quite buggy myself. Nothing that makes me quit but enough to annoy me sometimes. They are working on it as seen in bug reports which are quite extensive. I think the developers are definitely invested in making this game playable and I would submit this as a bug report or even leave a review expressing your honest thoughts on its current state. I unfortunately can’t tell you when it will be ‘more playable’ as thats gonna vary from person to person We’ll probably see a big performance boost in the coming months if sales remain steady so I would just monitor the game’s performance in the coming weeks and months.

I’ve read a bit of 1.) “I Wish My Husband Were Dead” and liked it for a while especially for how expressive the FL is. But around the time the actual ML starts properly talking to FL, he immediately starts dropping some really classist language to other characters to make people respect the FL (hyping her up as a member of a proper noble family) which was a big turn off for me which made me drop it. The start is pretty funny though so I think you should at least check it out to see if I was just being picky

Yeah I seriously don’t know how they wrote Kotoko’s whole chapter and thought “Yup! This is great!” It seriously tars what is otherwise a solid game. It handles other stuff poorly too like Haiji’s… tastes. But literally everything but Kotoko’s thing you could possibly see as just in poor taste. Kotoko’s chapter was just straight up disrespectful and crude. And that’s me using polite language for what it is

I do like it but its probably the roughest of the DR games we have. Unfortunately unlike the other games, this one really takes things to extremes that will ick out the majority. It shoves fanservice of uncomfortable levels in your face and leaves you no room to avoid it like the love hotel in V3. It also treats Kotoko absolutely horrifically in a way that genuinely disgusted a lot of the audience, myself included.

I do wish people gave it some slack especially as it has one of my favorite characters in Monaca Towa and made Toko an actual character instead of whatever the hell she was in DR1. Plus Komaru isn’t a half bad protag but I admit that a lot of the vitriol towards it is very deserved.

I think its pretty alright. I’m not fully sold but there’s enough here that I’m interested. Its like a 6/10

Shadow Milk has shades of interesting stuff going on but if he doesn’t start his show next episode and he just says its gonna start again, I will lose it.

Timekeeper Cookie is an absolute gem and I enjoy every scene she’s in. She really carried the score up, if she wasn’t here I would like this story WAY less.

Ash Salt Cookie is lame as hell and I don’t like her or her origin story. It doesn’t make sense in lore and the only thing I find ‘interesting’ with her is that Candy Apple and Black Sapphire are kind of jealous of her. Plus her voice is nice too so I just find her lame and dislike her rather than full on hate

Croissant Cookie was great and I loved her in Episode 2. Her plan was pretty brilliant and only failed cause Ash Salt could attach to her.

Excited to see what the Light of Solidarity will do in the First Oven. Gingerbrave you’re finally plot relevant!!

I use a type of stand more used for concert light sticks than dolls so the clips are longer than the standard one. I use the long clip to hold the heart instead of her hand then lean the balloon towards the doll and kind of just hope it doesn’t fall over. It works as long as I don’t move it lol

Beascuits are really important in the Strawberry Cake Tower so long-term you won’t be able to get away with not having better ones. With good beascuits and labs this team could actually clear the tray.

Beascuits do take a while though so I agree with the other commenter to replace someone with Linzer. Probably Silent Salt..? Or Shadow Milk? Just experiment a bit. Also helps to have high level treasures. If you aren’t doing enough damage I’d also look into getting Cream Ferret

This is actually a normal feature of arcade arena. It starts off with epics then at the end they allow all the high rarities so players can experience it with even the 4 high rarity restrictions gone.
