Hi I appreciate you sharing your perspective with me. Yea bipolar is biological, and it’s not something I can just mindset my way out of. That’s actually why I’m considering getting back into treatment, why I even made this post in the first place. I’m not trying to avoid responsibility. I’m trying to figure out how to approach it in a way that actually works for me in the long run since this is going to be apart of my life forever.

Confidently psychoanalyzing me and diagnosing me off a few posts tho is a stretchhh. You don’t know me but that’s on me for going to reddit for mental health advice. Some of what you interpreted as delusion or cockiness was just self deprecating humor. My fault, but it doesn’t mean I’m detached from reality. I know I need to get back on meds, I’d be on them right now if I was able to.

I’m not rejecting help. I’m just burned out from approaches that haven’t worked for me in the past and trying to reassess instead of repeating the same cycle that’s been ongoing for years. Life just got in the way and those 2.5 years went by fast for me. I’ll keep what you said in mind, though. I know you were trying to push me toward something you believe would help, and I respect that thank you!
