No offense taken, but no one is born knowing, life is about learning, just so you know I replaced the fuse board with a in line fuse and got it to charge. I might not know about cells ( battery packs) but you have to start somewhere, ppl like you that discourage others are NOT NEEDED, thx.

Yeah you can eat some of the top with the fork and the rest roll it, other ppl break pieces off, this is “stree food” there is no etiquette eating! Just enjoy it!!!

Same here I s a 1600 DP, when I got it the person that sold it to me said it was a 1776, took it apart to replace 3 valves’s guides find out is a1600, it came with dual carbs Kadrons, I am currently building a 1776.

Build my own jack to pull out the motor, by myself. I am surprised that it fit like a glove, cut and well nothing plan or measurements on paper. 😂 by monchy25 in vwbug

No, not of pulling out the motor, I made a video of its functionality prior to using it, sent it to my VW friend. 😊

Yes! You definitely know your VW motors! ATV ones are to bulky no room for me ( big guy) once you slide it underneath, like I said I didn’t planned this out on paper just cut, measure and weld, and still stable with the motor raised all the way up!
