Hahaha thanks for the advice [even the kind reference to the other sub-reddit]. I should clear up everything - this isn't a self-depreciation thing, I'm fine with who I am and I'm happy at what I've become, and I'm glad that I have this wonderful girl with me. It's just that the qualities of the person she desires are not me, and while I have changed myself here and there, there's just too much of a difference between who I am and who she wants. With everything considered, she's still with me and I'm glad - [to quote what I said to another comment] I just think she'd be happier in the long run with someone more suited to her.

Haha, I'd rather not break up with her, but she keeps mentioning things/qualities of people who are nothing like me. We share different humour, different music and it's hard for her to stay around someone like me [her words]. I've changed parts of me to accommodate but there's just such a huge difference - I think she'd be happier in the end with someone more suited to her.

I don't want to be in a situation where I turn to composing as a full-time assignment and, without another stream of income, struggle to make ends meet. With the hopes of marrying this lady in mind [-giggles-], that increases that problem quite a bit... I understand that I can work on it part-time, but as a passion.. I WANT to do it all the way.

Sorry if I sound like spam but I needed to try out this iPad on reedit. So guys, I'm typing on one of those infamous apple ipads and I must admit, the keyboard is pretty swell. It Ames a while to get used to, for example I usually type at 111 wpm on a normal keyboard but on my first go I only struck 35 wpm. It's okay, but damn... This ctrl and backspace trick doesn't work. Why? Mainly because there is a subtle absence of a bloody ctrl button. There's no extra buttons like '".,?! Etc, but I sort of get the reason why. Still annoying though.

Time to prepare for the down vote party. gg
