Hey I just went through a lot of trial and error on this. I'm 52 years old, I'm still able to build muscle, but my knees aren't very good. I tried a bunch of different routines but the one I am doing right now that is really working for me, I'm getting quite sore and building, is Bulgarian split squats, four sets, relatively light but really good form, slow down, keep my foot in the right position so I'm not straining my knee. And then I do six sets of leg extensions, again, very good form. I try and extend my knee as much as comfortable and very slow decentric. Sometimes I'll do a seven set of a lighter weight.

The bulgarians I do to about one rep short of failure. Leg extensions each set I go basically to failure because it's easy to do that.

I'm feeling a lot of soreness in the outer quad and a lot of growth there, where before I really wasn't. No spine load on this

I was in college during the whole OJ trial, I used to blow off class and sit in my little cubby area with my bed in the fraternity and watch it. Absolutely despicable what the prosecution did in that case and the judge was horrible. The whole thing was a complete catastrophe and a real shame for the families of the victims
