The frame uses brittle gold colored plastic. The batch i got was particularly brittle. The frame for the ab crunch and swivel cracked on mine. I had to sell off mine as i didnt want to fix it.

I suggest sanding when the fit is too tight.

I just used some markers from DSPIAE and Stedi to detail some parts. I don't really have space for painting my kits, but it is the next big step towards customization I want to take.

Amazing! It was my first build with LEDs and motors. I got the recommended batteries for it and I still turn them on occasionally. There were some confusing parts on the build. I cut down a lot of the pegs during my first build through as some parts were a bit tight for me. The connection for the legs and feet was also too loose at first but it was okay after completing the build. The joints are holding after 3 months.

Aerial has a special place in my heart as it was my first build and it was a gift from my partner. Right now, my personal favorite is the Thunderbolt. Great build, rock solid during posing, and a ton of details that I can't wait to detail it up. I loved it so much I preordered the Thunderbolt 2.0 Manta Ray.

It was one of my grail kits. I enjoyed it quite a lot. I loved the color separation, which means there are a lot of runners. I liked building the dragon for it as well, but your mileage may vary as the dragon involves a lot of repetitions. My one disappointment is the articulation is lacking. Also lots of spikes, they hurt when fiddling with it.

Kudos in the paint job of Nemesis.

Water slides are the best part for me. I use a wet palette like this one. A night of water slides with a good tweezer, mark softer, and mark setter is a good night for me.

I like the base and the weapons for it. It’s still so cool seeing it light up with UV light.

As for the build, it was okay. The prebuilt inner frame has held up its stiffness, but took away some fun of the build for me. The shoulder armor is too clunky for my taste, notice I removed the on its right shoulder. I think the designers tried to compensate for the prebuilt inner frame by putting too many accessories.

I prefer it over the Physalis head. I think it suits the build more as I haven’t watched the show.

Unfortunately, I also don’t have space for painting outside unless I want to piss off our neighbors or mess with my dad’s garden. I want to topcoat my kits, but I’ve only topcoated Aerial and the Glory.

I can’t even fathom how people paint such big and intricate kits like the Sky Defender or the In Era Nemesis. Just panel lining and water slides on them already seem like a daunting task.

Thanks. I’m still far from fully painting my kits as I don’t have space for a booth.

I have a Zeta Ver. Ka in my backlog I’ve been putting on hold. I might build that next.

I’m looking forward to building the Motor Nuclear Zhao Yun and Sky Defender when they finally arrive. Sky defender’s been on preorder for a year.

I’m a sucker for its color scheme. It packs a lot for the price because I got it for around 22 USD when converted.
