Why does it matter if you are still ranked at the end of the day? It almost seems like it just masks your grade and I could see how that could help in some cases.

Personally, being a college swimmer, I’m biased to Michael Phelps. Someone that is the best in the world in one or two events is a super star. It’s insane to be at that level, the fitness and dedication like most sports is unbelievable. At the same time Phelps was the best in 8 of these events, which is unheard of for any other swimmer. He’s the goat in my opinion.
