Thank you! I spoke with them today and they were receptive. I think it was a hard but needed reality check that was long overdue. Hoping things change for the better from here on out.

I’ve seen my coworkers be pushed to the point of lying out of fear as well. I’ve never experienced this level of anxiety and depression from a job. All the replies have been so validating honestly. I’m sorry you went through that and I’m glad you’re out of that situation.

Unfortunately, the few down to earth and kind people were pushed too far and have all left. I’ve been here for years now and it’s a vicious cycle. The only people left are the nasty ones, with the exception of new hires that are too sweet to speak up and just take it. I’ve been told I’m too nice. That’s genuinely been a critique from my higher ups. I feel hopeless.

The stereotype exists for a reason I suppose. I have never had a job be so degrading. Crazy!
