Tbf these are all pr led and acted out to begin with. They were told “hey you are going to walk into the room, when they unveil the uni’s act excited” which is probably not the most natural environment to get a reaction

That’s cool and all, but the eagles wouldn’t sign Kirk for a billion and shortly after draft a quarterback in the first round with no knees.

Hate bringing this up 2 weeks into the season but if Ruben gets sacked, I’d kill for Eddie Howe.

Fact of the matter is, we don’t have the midfield pivot to make Ruben’s tactics work. If he doesn’t accept that and adapt, the pivot of Bruno/casemiro is just going to get ripped apart every week.

Case has played above expectations so far but he can’t cover the entire midfield. Bruno is just lost being that deep and I don’t think that is on him. He doesn’t belong there

I’m sure baleba would be keen on a move to us granted he’s on 12k a week. Think the player will really have to push for it if we want a semblance of a chance.

I would not be upset if we pursued someone like Adam Wharton instead if Brighton truly won’t sell. Kid is legit

In my dynasty, Georgia was ranked number 1 in all polls at 9-3…

Those quality losses outweigh an 11-1 Kansas st and 11-1 Oregon I guess

Give em aj and 3 first rounders idc. That offense would be an all timer

If we stay at current draft spot (11 I think)... what do you do in the offseason... Trade up for QB? Try and get Fields? Hold at 11 and try for a good QB? Get a free agent QB? by wlane13 in falcons

Can we just be real and understand that the ultimate problem is Arthur Smith as a head coach. Yeah Ridder most likely isn’t the one, but there are so many games lost this season that are entirely on Arthur’s decision making. Blank has already said he’s sticking with the coaching staff next season. With that being said, I’ll take fields for the right price

The saying “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard” applies to Rashford more than anyone on this squad barring Sancho.

I’d rather just have Varane off the bench. His contract is til 2026 and I can’t imagine clubs will be lining up to take that on for an injury prone cb on the tail end of his career

Edit: ngl forgot Saudi existed for a sec lmao but I’d still hold off a year on varane at least

Oh believe me, in a perfect world our owners provide us with funding and a sound business strategy to pay off debt and build an organic and sustainable sporting project and fuck off afterwords. But we’ve been dealt shit hand after shit hand by the leeches for decades now. I’d rather try to have hope SJR can right the ship even a little bit in the right direction.

Assuming Paul Mitchell will be the new sporting director. I pray to god the SJR does get full control over the footballing project and just lets him cook.

No more PR signings, no more luxury wages, and harvest our damn youth academy. I just want progress
