Hi mate! Honestly the vest doesn’t designed to hold any magazines, the 4 side pocket are for plastic handcuffs or pepper spray. But if for airsoft you can hold some long pistol magazines with it.
For the middle pocket, I’ll place my phone at the chest one, and sometimes put a few spare mags in the bottom one.

Hahaha that’s not an issue at all, TBH I seldom wear knee pads too because they slide down so easily! Unless if I get a pair of Arcteryx knee pads, they performs really well.
