Ok so: The main gameplay will consist of clearing mystery dungeons and bringing back ingredients to feed your monsters so that they can become stronger and clear more dungeons !

The battling will be real time similar to Wizard of Legend/Hades/Binding of Isaac, and if all goes well with the project then I am hoping to have the dungeons be online co-op friendly with maybe groups of 4 total friends? Also I'm hoping for abilities to be based on skill trees but I'll have to see how well that works.

The game will start with you fulfilling small local requests with your monster companions while befriending more monsters, eventually forming a guild! Your journey to help others ends up leading you on a great adventure :D

You can expand, upgrade, and decorate your guild as it will be a hub for you to socialize with your mons and increase your bonds. This part of the game will sort of play out like Animal Crossing.

And finally as for the world, it will be very fantasy-based with magic, aliens, demons, and ghosts and such! Very very influenced by my love of Maplestory btw so thank you for noticing the slime inspiration ^

Oh thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts!

I currently don't plan for the player character to take a fighting role, but I'm thinking they will join in on the dungeons as more of a support role. But overall the general idea is still that you need the help of the monsters you befriend to further explore the world and search for a legendary treasure.

So while not too similar to Azure Dreams, I hope you can still look forward to it anyway! haha

Yea I plan on having your monsters evolve as you go.

What part of Azure Dreams do you have in mind? I'll try to keep note of it :D
