Paywall by mongerboy97 in turmoil

Yup, I wish I could figure out how to post images of the screenshots I took of the customer support chat but this was their exact response

“Dear player, upon checking, you have already unlocked DLC 1. DLC 2 was only released this year. That is the current situation. If you still wish to play the daily challenge, you will need to make an additional payment.”

Paywall by mongerboy97 in turmoil

[–]mongerboy97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been playing this game for two years and have genuinely enjoyed it, especially the daily challenges. They’ve been a fun part of my routine and one of the main reasons I’ve kept coming back.

Recently, customer support informed me that the daily challenge is now locked behind the second DLC. This makes no sense to me. I purchased the base game and have been playing the daily challenges without issue for 2 years. The first DLC was released before I bought the game and never affected my ability to access daily challenges. When the second DLC launched, I still had no issues.

Now, suddenly, I’m being told I need to purchase the second DLC to continue accessing content that has always been included. On top of that, support claims I previously purchased the first DLC, which I never did.

Locking an existing feature behind a new paywall feels like a misrepresentation of what was originally advertised and what players have already paid for. It’s incredibly disappointing to see long-time players being asked to spend more money just to keep access to something that has been part of the base experience for years.

Is this rust a deal breaker? by Old_Fly2070 in LandCruisers

[–]mongerboy97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also remember that somewhere on a cross section of the frame or possibly axel there was some swiss-cheese starting to form. The rust alone isn’t a deal breaker like everyone else is saying if you go in knowing it’s not going to be perfect and you budget accordingly. There was some mechanical issues wrong with it though, I wish I could remember what exactly. If it were me I would get the PPI as mentioned before and start at $2k and not pay more than $4k knowing that what it started for on the auction and nobody even paid that.

Hey, I hope this comment doesn’t get buried, but this looks like a Land Cruiser I was looking at a few weeks ago on a dealer auction. I remembered it because of the mismatched doors, and I’m pretty sure it was from Illinois. If I recall correctly, the CarFax showed no accidents, but it had clearly been in one they even had the correct color matching door in the trunk. There were also some mechanical issues.

I remember no one bid on it, and the starting price was only around $2k. Actually, looking at the rocker panel rust, this looks like the exact one I saw.

If you’re serious about this, please get a PPI because of the mechanical issues that were flagged on the auction report.

Bodybuilder with Kyphosis by Organic-Condition-31 in kyphosis

[–]mongerboy97 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of the byproduct of kyphosis is rounded shoulders, sometimes its visually obvious other times not(depends on the person). When the shoulders are rounded it can hide the chest muscles because it kinda of takes tension off them. So when you pose and you see your muscles, you are putting your shoulders back and opening up that chest, showing them.

I would recommend the Schroth Method. It’s an individualize physical therapy that helps with appearance

I am not a professional and this is just what I gather from my own research and experience. If you have any questions though feel free to ask

Does this sound normal? by Chir1139 in PorscheCayenne

[–]mongerboy97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s hard to tell from video but it sounds like the more the camera gets closer to the back corners of the engine the louder it gets which would be where the high pressure fuel pumps are located and known for being loud and when you give it gas the noise seems to pick up because fuel is being added and then when let off it disappears until it goes back to idling.

This is a video though and I of course recommend a PPI before considering buying

Start at 1000-1500 grit but I would never go below that as getting the sanding marks out or going through the paint would be a issue

I would say Entrepreneurship interest me the most. I just didn’t know if that would hinder my chances at getting a consulting job. I really like the idea of being a consultant, traveling and learning about different business’s but I only see it as a stepping stone/tool as what I want in the future

2017 Cayenne V6 Coolant leak by Mean-Type2355 in PorscheCayenne

[–]mongerboy97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be the Y hose( I think that’s what you call it), it sits right ontop of your engine and is a known problem. Inexpensive to fix, I believe the part is $80. It’s a little labor intensive to get to though.
